Yes, here’s another one…. It seems I continue to find more and more health problems caused or related to PCOS. Its quite frustrating and alarming. It is easy to feel that this disease/condition is completely controlling our entire body…..

However, I do believe that education is extremely important. The more we know about PCOS, and its related health risks, the better off we are. Really ! If educate yourself about the risks ahead of time, not only will you know what to watch out for, but you will also know how to prevent and/or treat it.

Sleep Apnea is when you basically stop breathing during your sleep; it can be an extremely dangerous condition. For a more detailed explanation, click here

Studies show that women with PCOS have a higher chance of sleep apnea, and of course it is related to high testosterone levels and insulin resistance.

(This information is from a site who promotes and sells a “cure-all” for PCOS. I have not researched this company enough to recommend them or their product. They do, however have excellent information on PCOS the issues related to it.)
