Being interviewed on PCOS Challenge Radio Show this Wednesday!
Welcome back!
Have you ever wanted to ask some women how they accomplished successful pregnancy with PCOS? Here is your chance. Sasha Ottey interviews two women who are currently pregnant. Their stories do not come without the challenges that many women with PCOS face.
Melanie McGregor and her husband knew that they wanted to have children when they were married in May 2008. So she discontinued birth control and began charting everything. In April 2009 she was diagnosed with PCOS with an ultrasound which showed the classic “pearl necklace” cysts in her ovaries. In July, 2009 they began actively trying as she timed her ovulation very closely. They conceived late September 2009. She is currently in her 18th week of pregnancy.
Pamela is 32 years old and lives in Center Hill, FL. She was diagnosed with PCOS nearly 8 1/2 years ago. She and her husband have been blessed with four beautiful children (AnnMarie - 11, Nicolette - 5 1/2, Camryn - 3 1/2, and Kaitlyn - 2) They are currently expecting their 5th child (a boy) in April 2010.
Listen to this episode to listen to two women with PCOS, from different walks of life, who are currently carrying their miracle babies.
